Jayhawks on Parade is an art-icon event that’s bringing larger than life versions of the University of Kansas Jayhawk to the streets of Lawrence.

The five-foot tall Jayhawks will grace Lawrence’s sidewalks through early-November 2003 - but these aren’t your ordinary Jayhawks. These Jayhawks are decorated, painted, embellished and emblazoned by area artists on a mission to bring these big birds to life with a personality each their own.
