The support of sponsors has madeJayhawks on Parade possible.

Event sponsors each paid $4,500 to sponsor a Jayhawk. For their investment, sponsors receive recognition in all Jayhawks on Parade promotional materials and published pieces as well as on a plaque that will adorn their Hawk while it’s on display.

Jayhawks on Parade sponsors were given an opportunity to designate a non-profit beneficiary for their embellished bird. When it’s time for the Hawks to fly the nest at the end of the exhibit, the Jayhawks will be donated to the selected organizations. In total, sponsors chose more than a dozen non-profit organizations. Each of the benefiting non-profits will sell the works of art as a fundraiser or keep them for future use. Some sponsors have elected to take ownership of the birds at the event’s conclusion.
